Dhanushya eight and a half year old presently studies in Upper Kindergarten in a Church school at Salem. She was born to Geetha Ambika who hails from the district of Villupuram. Her mom is a Laborer who earns daily wages working in the fields in their village. Dhanushya’s father Durai is also a laborer who works in the paddy field for a very less wage. The father left his wife and the children without taking care of them and lives in another village close by. The mother who was taking care of her kids was no longer able to care for her kids at-last found ways to put them in some orphanages. Monisha was referred to us by the local pastor whom we work with stating the situation of her family and the need for caring and educating her.
